Sumario: | In continuity with the interdisciplinary research path developed by the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences «Auxilium» around the year 2000, the present contribution proposes to study more deeply the educational dimension of Mary's motherhood of Jesus and its exemplary model for the pastoral practices of the Church. Indeed, educational practices structurally belong to human motherhood; the relation between Mary and the Son cannot be an exception, since in the Incarnation God brought everything that is genuinely human to its fullness. The study proceeds by taking into consideration the New Testament text and interpreting it according to the indications offered by Paul VI in Marialis Cultus, keeping in mind the contribution of the human sciences and the situation of the contemporary world. |
