Description
Résumé:This essay presents the International Conference Towards the Education of Women Today, held at Frascati from August 1-15, 1988. It is part of the rubric Women in Education, and in particular it opens with the event celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the Facoltà di Science dell'Educazione "Auxilium," recalling to mind a first planned phase. The Frascati conference did indeed inaugurate a process of study and research that resulted in subsequent scientific events. The essay is divided into three core sections that consider respectively the preparation for the conference, its actual occurrence, and several current echoes of the conference. Rereading the proposals presented there is not simply to return to the past, but also to welcome the appeal to continue that was so frequently sounded during those days of study. (English)
