Gesù è Dio come il Padre, il Figlio di Dio, che si è fatto uomo per noi e per la nostra salvezza. The Incarnation, for Fr. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, is an essential and fundamental truth, the only gateway to understanding the mystery of the person of Christ. The personal and transcendent God, remaining such, became the real man, once and for all, in Jesus Christ. Christ, therefore, is the personal place of meeting and dialogue between divinity and humanity, between the transcendent and the immanent, between eternity and history. The Incarnation is God's self-revelation to man as a Trinitarian communion. The mystery of the Incarnation and the Trinitarian mystery are therefore in close and mutual relationship. The Incarnation has its origin and its explanation in the Trinity, and the Trinity finds in the Incarnation its expression and its continuation to the outside, as well as its consequences have a salvific dimension. Jesus is God, like the Father, the Son of God, who became man for us and for our salvation. Not only did he redeem humanity, but he became, through his teaching and his life, a clear example of conduct for every human being who is called to achieve the dignity of an adopted child of God, through union with the mystery of the incarnate Word who died and rose again. |
