| Summary: | The concept of democracy is clearly undergoing a transformation from a static to a dynamic definition, one that is adapted to the social metamorphosis we are experiencing. Political participation is not what it once was, but the problem is not young people because by now it seems to be a widespread phenomenon. The era of ideologies is over, and we are no longer fighting for ideals, almost to the point that no one fights for anything anymore. The result is a fictitious, unreal participation through new means such as social networks, for example. A more directive and deliberative democracy is required. We must decisively aim towards citizenship education that is truly effective, because minds that can think will lead to thought-out decisions. Il concetto di democrazia sta evidentemente subendo una trasformazione, passando da una definizione statica ad una dinamica, adeguata alla metamorfosi sociale che stiamo vivendo. La partecipazione politica non è più quella di un tempo, ma il problema non sono i giovani, perché sembra sia un costume ormai diffuso. L’era delle ideologie è finita, ora non si lotta più per gli ideali. Quasi non si lotta più. Il risultato è una partecipazione fittizia, non reale, attraverso nuovi strumenti che sono i social network, ad esempio. Serve più democrazia diretta e deliberativa. Bisogna decisamente puntare su un’educazione alla cittadinanza che sia davvero efficace, perché avere menti pensanti porta a decisioni pensate. Evidentemente, el concepto de democracia está experimentando una transformación, pasando de una definición estática a una dinámica, adecuada a la metamorfosis social que vivimos. La participación política ya no es lo que era, pero el problema no son los jóvenes, porque parece ser una costumbre muy extendida. Se acabó la era de las ideologías, ya no hay lucha por los ideales. Ya casi no se afronta esta causa. El resultado es una participación ficticia, no real, a través de nuevos instrumentos que son las redes sociales, por ejemplo. Necesitamos una democracia más directa y deliberativa. Es preciso apuntar decididamente sobre una educación a la ciudadanía que sea verdaderamente eficaz, porque tener mentes pensantes conduce a decisiones reflexivas. |
