| Summary: | This article presents the contribution of the Association Mediterranean without Handicap NGO to the study of health and disability considered as an ethical and anthropological issue besides being a social and medical one. From the perspective of human rights, disability is conceived as an important point of view umafor observing human beings through categories such as autonomy and dependency, equality and difference. This view also allows for a better understanding of citizenship for persons with disabilities, identifying appropriate strategies to realize it in different life contexts. (English) |
