Summary: | In papers one examines the origin, meaning and implications of the integral education. There is done an etymological and textual analysis on the terms, and the integral education links itself with the set of practices of life that generated the middle class in West and a judgment is issued brings over of his inadequacy, since ideally, strictly between ourselves in Venezuela. Finally, an offer iselaborated, in terms of the assumption of a different «education» practised by popular subjects in educational not formal spaces. En el artículo se examina el origen, significado e implicaciones de la Educación integral. Se hace un análisis etimológico y textual sobre los términos, y se vincula la educación integral con el conjunto de prácticas de vida que engendró la burguesía en Occidente y se emite un juicio acerca de su inadecuación, como ideal, entre nosotros en Venezuela. Finalmente, se elabora una propuesta, en términos de la asunción de una «educación» distinta practicada porsujetos populares en espacios educativos no formales. |
