In the process, many hardworking professionals have been lost as they have been working in the shadows or dealing with a profit-centered model where human resources were not sufficiently taken care of. Nowadays, the relation between the workers’well being and their performance is recognized at last. The social worker has arole in combining the individual, social and contextual factors taking part in theme asure of productivity of the worker and the overall organization. The objectiveis to improve organizations, making them more successful and socially involved,a true Social Corporate Responsibility. Now it is time to take over this importantrole in organizations and to prove our job’s profitability. | ||
| 520 | |a El trabajo social en empresa es quizás una de las áreas menos conocidas en nuestra profesión. Desde su nacimiento hasta nuestros días ha tenido que adaptarse tanto a los cambios en las empresas como en los servicios de protección social. En esa adaptación se han perdido muchos profesionales, que han trabajado intensamente, pero en la sombra o lidiando con un modelo de empresa demasiado centrado en los resultados y muy poco en el cuidado de su recurso humano. En la actualidad, donde se reconoce al fin la relación entre el bienestar del trabajador y su rendimiento, el trabajador social tiene un papel aglutinador de los factores personales, sociales y contextuales que afectan a la productividad tanto del trabajador como de la organización en general. El objetivo: hacer mejores empresas, exitosas y socialmente comprometidas, acordes con una verdadera Responsabilidad Social Corporativa. Es por tanto el momento de retomar este importante papel en las empresas y demostrar la rentabilidad de nuestra labor. | ||
