| Resumo: | This brief but dense text describes the result of an academic relationship, that of a doctoral student with his thesis supervisor, which is not always easy, but which in the specific case of Manuel Gil turned out to be profoundly rich and fertile. A relationship between academics, in which his supervisor, in addition to accompanying Manuel’s rigorous intellectual commitment, passionately engaged in tracing and rescuing the socio-historical construction of social work in Spain, gave rise to a deep friendship between the two. En este texto breve pero denso, se describe el resultado de una relación académica, la de un doctorando con su director de tesis, que no siempre es fácil y tranquila, pero que en el caso concreto de Manuel Gil resultó ser profundamente rica y fértil. Una relación entre académicos, en la que su director además de acompañar el riguroso empeño intelectual de Manuel, empeñado apasionadamente en rastrear y rescatar la construcción sociohistórica del trabajo social en España, pudo traducirse también en una profunda amistad entre ambos. |
