| Summary: | Esta nota plantea la relación entre conciencia y autoridad, primero desde el punto de vista de la conciencia, que emerge desde su despertar en relación con un fundamento más grande que ella misma, y, en seguida, desde el punto de vista de la autoridad, cuyo sentido es servir a la conciencia. Conciencia y autoridad se implican recíprocamente. Después de esto, la nota se detiene en el abuso de la autoridad sobre la conciencia, para pasar a las pretensiones injustificadas de la conciencia respecto de la autoridad. Finalmente, se expone la importancia de la cuestión en la vida de John Henry Newman y sus líneas de solución. This paper addresses the relationship between conscience and authority, first within the standpoint of conscience, that stems since its awakening, with an ever-greater foundation than herself, and following this, from the standpoint of authority, whose purpose is to serve the conscience and freedom. Conscience and authority, then are reciprocally implied. The paper also deals with the abuse of authority over the conscience, following on the unjustified pretense of the conscience over authority. Finally, it is exposed the importance the concern in the life of John Henry Newman and the principles for a solution he offerred. |
