| Summary: | Los Papas posteriores al Vaticano II han llamado la atención sobre la necesidad de profundizar en la verdadera identidad del sacerdote, como único camino de solución para la crisis sacerdotal aún presente. Esta identidad surge de la relación constitutiva del presbítero con Cristo. El presente estudio pretende analizar los múltiples aspectos de esta relación, teniendo en cuenta que Cristo es no solo el origen temporal, sino el fundamento permanente del sacerdocio ministerial. De ese modo, el presbítero se configura como presencia simbólico- sacramental de Cristo Cabeza y Pastor de la Iglesia. The post-Vatican II popes have emphasized the need to deepen the true identity of the priest, as the only way to solve today’s crisis of the priesthood. This identity comes from the priest’s constitutive relationship with Christ. This present study aims to analyze the many aspects of this relationship, taking into account that Christ is not only the temporary origin, but also the permanent foundation of the ministerial priesthood. Thus, the presbyter is described as a symbolicsacramental presence of Christ Head and Shepherd of the Church. |
