Summary:Salvation is a fundamental question for the human being and Christianity is understood as a proposal for salvation. For this reason, a central task of theology consists in thinking and saying Christian salvation. This article reflects on the approach of soteriology. It is assumed that in today’s culture salvation appears without reference to the question of meaning. The content of soteriology as a structural element of theology is discussed below.
