These cases are analyzed by using Photoshop to superimpose extant characters directly onto digital images of the fragments. The editors’ errors suggest that some circular thinking may have crept into their work: their belief that the Samuel scrolls are closely related to LXX caused them to see agreements that were not there, which in turn confirmed their belief in the close relationship.
