| Summary: | The celebration of Corpus Christi has changed throughout history. The same has happened in the way it has been conceived. In the following, we will present the importance of this feast acquired in the college of the Society of Jesus of the University of Salamanca. A religious institution that was born in early modernity and that needs to enter the scholastic city, will use the celebration of Corpus Christi to implement its influence on society as a whole. La celebración del Corpus Christi ha cambiado a lo largo de la historia. Lo mismo ha pasado en el modo de ser concebida. A continuación, presentaremos la importancia de esta fiesta adquirida en el colegio de la Compañía de Jesús de la Universidad de Salamanca. Una institución religiosa que nace en la temprana modernidad y que necesita adentrarse en la ciudad escolástica, se servirá de la celebración del Corpus para implementar su influjo en el conjunto de la sociedad. |
