| Summary: | The issue of education continues to be one of the most worrying issues today. That is why it has been the object of study by a large interdisciplinary group that brings together different areas. In our case, we want to contribute, through this article, a study that can shed light from a triple perspective that synthesizes the metaphysical, ethical and theological foundation, mainly of the medieval tradition and, specifically, of Thomas Aquinas and his doctrine de las passiones animae and, more recently, Veritatis Splendor, where John Paul II tries to highlight the ethical aspect of Fides et ratio, where he analyzes the rational valence of the Christian proposal. La cuestión de la educación sigue siendo en nuestros días uno de los temas más preocupantes. Es por ello que ésta es, cada vez con más intensidad, objeto de estudio por parte de un amplio grupo de carácter interdisciplinar que acomuna diferentes ámbitos. En nuestro caso, querríamos aportar, a través del presente artículo, un estudio que pudiera arrojar luz desde una triple perspectiva que sintetiza el fundamento metafísico, ético y teológico, principalmente desde la tradición medieval y, en concreto, desde Tomás de Aquino y su doctrina de las passiones animae, y, más recientemente, desde Veritatis Splendor, donde Juan Pablo II procura poner de relieve la vertiente ética de Fides et ratio, donde analiza la valencia racional de la propuesta cristiana. |
