Description
Summary:The aim of this article is to show that the flesh and the body are endowed with different meanings according to the philosophical paradigm from which they are thought. Specifically, the author proposes various considerations about the flesh and the body based on four historical paradigms: substance, subject, existence and phenomenon. This journey makes it possible to recognize the semantics of both concepts and clear the way for their use in the theological sphere. Taking into account that Christianity can be defined as religion of the flesh, it concludes with the proposal to turn the flesh into the key to understanding reality.
