| Summary: | Andrés Torres Queiruga’s theory holds an important standing in the debate regarding the problem of evil. An essential element of his thinking revolves around the concept of man and the universe as being finite. Such a limitation is directly linked to the inevitability of evil. This article attempts to illustrate that creation should be understood as «created infinity» rather than simply finite and thus facilitate the resolution of certain difficulties surrounding the consideration of man in the here and now and his reaching out to a beyond extent where evil does not exist. En el marco de las discusiones en torno a una comprensión del problema del mal ocupa un lugar importante la teoría de Andrés Torres Queiruga. Su idea fundamental gira en torno a la concepción del mundo y del hombre como caracterizados fundamentalmente por la finitud. De esta finitud dependería directamente la inevitabilidad del mal. En el artículo se intenta poner de relieve que la creación debería ser entendida más bien como «infinitud creada» más que como mera finitud. Con ello se podrían resolver determinados problemas relacionados con la visión del hombre en el más acá y con su paso a un más allá exento de mal. |
