Description
Summary:Here we present Ratzinger's vital setting, with his most decisive studies and influences, as the University Professor and his famous Habilitation Thesis. An ace of the Second Vatican Council, the transition from Münster to Tubinga, the social crisis of the 68 and his exit to Regensburg. The arrival of the currents of the Council and the Communio journal. The Bishop, the Prefect of the Congregation of the Faith and Pope Benedict XVI. Later, we will present Reason and Faith, as per Ratzinger, in the face of the silence of God: the Holy Saturday meditation, the Holy Saturday of the history, and the present atheism. In addition, he delves into the current situation and its causes: individualistic egocentrism, aversion to the sublime, and shows us how to be a Christian in a neopagan era, from the path of Vatican II and the Christian witness of the living God in our world, with the gospel of the God of love and its moral. He also speaks to us about interreligious dialogue, the world of the laity, women in the Church, the number of saints, and liturgical reform to reach today´s New Evangelization as testimony of the living God in our world.
