| Summary: | The aim of this article is to show, with the help of the works of St. Teresa, her passion for the Scripture, the indissoluble link there is between the Word of God and her own experience. Her writings express equally the power of the Word of God in her life. Scripture nourishes her prayer and illuminates her existence and all her spiritual experiences, and these, in turn, enrich the intelligence of the Word. Teresa deeply penetrates the sense of Scripture. Her interpretation is born of experience. It is an existential exegesis, which states that the Word is alive and active in life. With the words of Scripture, Teresa expresses her own deep experience of God and with the Scripture she enters profoundly in the ways of love. She feels too the urgency to communicate the truth of her experience and she encourages others to drink at the well of Scripture, because in it they will meet Christ. El artículo se centra en mostrar, de la mano de las obras de Santa Teresa, su pasión por la Escritura, el vínculo indisoluble que tiene la Palabra de Dios y su propia experiencia. Sus escritos expresan igualmente la fuerza de transformación que encuentra en la Palabra. La Escritura nutre su oración e ilumina su existencia y todas sus experiencias espirituales, y éstas, a su vez, enriquecen la inteligencia de la Escritura. Teresa penetra hondamente el sentido de la Escritura. Su interpretación nace de la experiencia. Es una exégesis existencial, que afirma que la Palabra es viva y operante en la vida. Con las palabras de la Escritura expresa la honda experiencia de Dios que se le va regalando y se adentra cada vez más en los caminos del amor. Siente además la urgencia de comunicar la verdad de su experiencia y anima a otros a beber en el pozo de la Escritura, porque en él se encontrarán con Cristo. |
