| Summary: | Spiritualität als Dimension in der Pflege ist zwar in Ansätzen erforscht, aber die Konsequenzen für das Berufsfeld Pflege sind noch wenig betrachtet. Anhand einer Einzelfallanalyse eines Experteninterviews wird existentielle Kommunikation und Spiritualität am Lebensende auf der Intensivstation untersucht. Die exemplarische Darstellung greift das Spannungsfeld zwischen der medizintechnischen und spirituellen Dimension im intensivpflegerischen Handlungsfeld auf. Spiritualität und spirituelle Bedürfnisse auf der Intensivstation betreffen alle: die Patient(inn)en, Angehörigen, Pflegekräfte sowie das interdisziplinäre Team. Die Bedeutsamkeit von Symbolen und Ritualen sowie von Zeit und Raum zum Leben und Erleben von Spiritualität wird im nachfolgenden Beitrag aufgezeigt. Spirituality as a dimension in care and the consequences for the occupational field of care has not yet been considered properly. Based on a single-case analysis of an expert interview, existential communication and spirituality at the end of life in an intensive care unit is examined. The exemplary description addresses the conflict area between the technological and spiritual dimension in the area of intensive care activities. Spirituality and the spiritual needs in intensive care units are affecting all: patients, the relatives, the nurses and the interdisciplinary team. The following article demonstrates the significance of symbols and rituals as well as time and space to live and experience spirituality. |
