| Summary: | The European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN) is designed from the European Council for cooperation on crime prevention among member states of the EU and involves collaboration not only between countries but within the same country between civil society and security forces in prevention. In tribute to Professor Miguel Juárez, who supported me from the University when I was appointed Researcher Contact Point by the Ministry of Interior in this network, some lines are presented below: describing what is the EUCPN, history, structure, functioning and objectives facing the collaboration between countries, organizations, groups and individuals in the prevention of crime. La Red Europea de Prevención de la Delincuencia (EUCPN) está concebida desde el Consejo Europeo para la cooperación en materia de prevención del delito entre los Estados miembros delaUE y supone la colaboración no sólo entre países sino dentro de un mismo país entre sociedad civil y cuerpos de seguridad en la prevención. En homenaje al profesor Miguel Juárez, quien me apoyó desde la Universidad cuando fui nombrada punto de contacto investigador por el Ministerio de Interior en esta Red, se exponen a continuación unas líneas que describen qué es el EUCPN, su historia, estructura, funcionamiento y objetivos de cara a la colaboración entre países, entidades, grupos y personas en la prevención de la criminalidad. |
