Summary:The purpose of the article is to describe a psychoeducational consulting experiment in school, which was carried out in accordance with the principles that guide educational activity following the Salesian method. It specifically describes the counseling and support service, understood as a means for promoting the psychological well-being of all those involved the scholastic institution: students, faculty, parents, and administrative, technical, and auxiliary personnel. In this regard, the analysis is an occasion to make known a type of intervention that some teaching psychologists in education in the «Auxilium» Faculty have been using for the last seventeen years at a middle school and high school in Rome.
