Anhand zweier interaktioneller Theorien - der ‚Transaktionsanalyse‘ und des ‚Containings‘ - wird herausgearbeitet, dass Mitgefühl in diesem Zusammenhang eine tragende Rolle einnimmt. Schließlich wird verdeutlicht, inwiefern das spirituelle Vertrauen der Behandelnden eine wichtige therapeutische Voraussetzung gerade für die Arbeit mit Sterbenden darstellt. | ||

In these cases, the goal of treatment can be to support patients in developing ‘acceptance’ as best as possible. This raises the question of whether this process can be facilitated therapeutically. Based on two interactional theories - ‘transactional analysis’ and ‘containing’ - this article shows how compassion plays a supporting role in this context. Finally, it demonstrates the crucial importance of the spiritual trust of the practitioner as a therapeutic prerequisite especially for the work with the dying. | ||
