| Summary: | Su mensaje consolador estuvo centrado en el anuncio de Yahwéh como Redentor de Israel. El profeta recuerda al pueblo quién ha sido Yahwéh, su Dios: en el pasado, Creador del pueblo al liberarlo de Egipto y también el hacedor del Cosmos. Esto reaviva la fe de Israel en su presente desesperanzado. A su vez, esa historia de salvación sirve como apoyo y garantía para el futuro de liberación y restauración. Yahwéh. “Aparece como el Dios totalmente fiel y solidario con Israel. Detrás de esa solidaridad apasionada nos revela que la historia del pueblo es el camino que Yahwéh ha escogido para manifestarse al mundo y, al mismo tiempo, para llevar a Israel a ser más auténticamente pueblo de Dios creando unas estructuras socio-políticas y económicas solidarias. El recuerdo de la alianza tribal parece estar en la mente del profeta al hablar del futuro. His message of consolation was centered in the announcement of Yahweh as Redeemer of Israel. The prophet reminds the people who Yahweh, their God, has been: in ¡he past, Creator of the people in liberating them from Egypt and also maker of the Universe. This same God revives the faith of Israel in its present, apparently devoid of hope. This history of salvation serves in turn as support and guarantee for the future of liberation and restoration. Yahweh appears as ¡he God who is totally faithful and in solidarity with Israel. Behind this impassioned solidarity he shows that the history of the people is ¡he way which in Yahweh has chosen lo reveal himself ¡o ¡he world and al ¡he same time ¡o bring Israel to be more authentically the people of God, creating certain socio-political and economic structures of solidarity. The memory of the tribal league seems to be in the prophet’s mind when he speaks of the future. |
