Summary: | Two pieces of evidence are presented and discussed that connect the Byzantine commentator Michael of Ephesus with mathematics: the fact that he owned a reference manuscript of Euclid’s Elements, and traces of his reading of Nicomachus’ Introductio arithmetica. |
