| Summary: | This article intends to discuss a few methodological and theoretical issues involved in the fieldwork process. On the premise that anthropological theory and ethnography are not separable, being the constant dialogue between them the probable responsible for the constant renewal of methodological and theoretical improvement of the discipline, the text, initially, does a course through Santo Daime’s doctrine, focusing, primarily, a work category. In a second step, the discussion addresses issues concerning problems of engagement, or politicizing with the research object, or researched subject; for, ultimately, evoke points corresponding to the topic of the dimensions wrapped in ethnographic experience. |
