Description
Summary:One of the most important characteristics of the Old Testament faith is its personal structure. It characterizes the faith beginning with the age of Moses, and it is further maintained and intensified by those who are imbued with the divine charisma, especially by the prophets. With the prophets we have in addition a combining of the charismatic element with the personal representation of God before the people in the prophetic message on the one hand, and on the other hand its combining with the personal representation of the people before God in the intercession. Consequently the prophets do not regard the relationship between God and Israel as being founded in a treaty or covenant.
