Il n'est donc pas possible d'établir s'ils proviennent de la même source que les questions de Munich. On peut toutefois démontrer que les extraits de Godefroid ne constituent pas la reportation directe du cours oral de Gilles, mais qu'ils sont issus d'un travail d'abréviation effectué à partir d'un texte différent de celui de l'ordinatio, très probablement d'une reportation. Besides the evidence of Clm. 8005, another document on the course of Giles of Rome on Sent. I is represented by the excerpts copied by Geoffrey of Fontaines in the ms. Paris, B.N., Lat. 15819. Since these excerpts concern the prologue and distinctions 2 and 3, they cannot be compared with the questions of Lat. 15819. It is impossible therefore to determine if they come from the same source as the questions of Munich. However, it can be shown that Geoffrey's excerpts do not constitute a direct reportatio of the oral course of Giles, but rather issue from an abbreviated work made from a different text than that of the ordinatio, very probably from a reportatio. |
