| Summary: | Luther a souffert d'angoisse et d'une psychose maniaco-dépressive. L'article présente brièvement les études du psychiatre P. J. Reiter et du psychanalyste E. H. Erikson, mais surtout celle, historico-théologique, de R. Dalbiez. Celui-ci attribue une importance décisive à la thèse de la culpabilité des tentations naturelles involontaires. L'article montre que le vocabulaire du péché employé par Luther à ce sujet relève d'un autre contexte : biblique, paulinien, augustinien, en même temps que d'une expérience personnelle exacerbée. Luther suffered from anguish and from a manic-depressive psychosis. The article presents in a brief way the studies of the psychiatrist P. J. Reiter and the psychoanalyst E. H. Erikson, but above all the historico-theological study of R. Dalbiez. The latter attributes decisive importance to the thesis of the culpability of the natural involuntary temptations. The article shows that the vocabulary of sin used by Luther for this subject comes from other contexts : Biblical, Pauline, and Augustinian, and at the same time from an embittered personal experience. |
