La comunicación analiza la relación entre el arte y lo sagrado que Gerardus van der Leeuw plantea en su obra Sacred and Profane Beauty. The Holy in Art. En ella parte de una descripción fenomenológica del arte contextualizada en diferentes tradiciones de la historia de las religiones, establece unas estructuras que articulan dicha relación y plantea una estética teológica general desarrollada a partir de la teoría de la imagen de Dios, que permita determinar cómo el arte puede mediar lo sagrado. |
