| Σύνοψη: | This paper examines the need for horizontal and vertical coordination amongst university academic staff, in a field in which the prevalence of maximum autonomy is usually synonymous with lack of coordination. The duties of coordination on the part of Department Heads, Deans and Directors of Studies in the Articles of Government, General Regulations and Mission and Vision documents of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid are analyzed. Some deficiencies are pointed out and some proposals are finally put forward in order to plan, implement and progressively improve horizontal and vertical coordination in educational issues. The need for the sensitization of the academic staff and the indispensable initiative corresponding to those holding posts of responsibility at the University are also emphasised. Se plantea la necesidad de la coordinación horizontal y vertical entre los docentes universitarios, en un ámbito donde el predominio de la máxima autonomía suele ser sinónimo de falta de coordinación. Se analizan las funciones de coordinación de los Directores, Decanos y Jefes de Estudios en los documentos de Estatutos Generales, Reglamento General y Proyecto Educativo de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid. Se ponen de manifiesto algunas carencias y se hacen finalmente algunas propuestas para organizar, poner en marcha y mejorar progresivamente la coordinación horizontal y vertical en cuestiones docentes. Se hace hincapié en la necesidad de sensibilizar al equipo docente y en la imprescindible iniciativa que corresponde a las personas que tienen funciones de responsabilidad en la Universidad. |
