| Summary: | Young Spaniards are late emancipating from most European countries. This situation is repeated in different circumstances -in periods of boom and economic crisis-. It mainly refers to their difficulties in completing studies, work, housing and without taking sufficient account of social and cultural aspects. The late emancipation and semi-independence of young people can have various consequences: deficient and incomplete fit to adult life, infantilism, risky behaviors, determining the value system, diffuse life project… In order to carry out the research, we present official quantitative data and also different interviews with people who know the subject. In some cases an existential vacuum and an incomplete epidermal life project can be seen. Los jóvenes españoles se emancipan tardíamente respecto la mayoría de los países europeos. Esta situación se repite en diferentes circunstancias -en periodos de bonanza y crisis económica-. Principalmente se hace referencia a sus dificultades para terminar los estudios, trabajo, vivienda…; sin tener en cuenta suficientemente aspectos sociales y culturales. La emancipación tardía y la semi-independencia de los jóvenes puede tener consecuencias diversas: deficiente e incompleto encaje a la vida adulta, infantilismo, conductas de riesgo, determinar el sistema de valores, proyecto de vida difuso… Para la realización de la investigación se presentan datos cuantitativos oficiales y también diferentes entrevistas a personas conocedoras de la temática.
