| Summary: | This paper presents the concept of self-organization as the base of the immediate experiential states in which, on a contextual way, the persons’ self gets configured, and more concretely the client’s and the therapist’s selves do in the various interactions belonging to the Process Experiential Psychotherapy (PEP). What is underlying is a processual view of the self, supported by the notion of dynamic systems and the dialectic-constructivist theory. First, a reflection on the therapeutic implications of this model in relation to the concept of self-organization is done, and then the same concept and its role in PEP are reviewed. El artículo presenta el concepto de auto-organización como base de los estados experienciales inmediatos en los que, de modo contextual, se configura el sí mismo (self) de las personas, y más concretamente el self del cliente y del terapeuta en las diversas interacciones propias de la Psicoterapia Experiencial y de Proceso (PEP). Lo que subyace es una visión procesual del self, apoyada en los sistemas dinámicos y en la teoría dialéctico-constructivista. Primero se reflexiona sobre las implicaciones terapéuticas de este modelo en relación al concepto de auto-organización, y después se revisa el mismo concepto y su rol en la PEP. |
