| Summary: | After First World War, the Spanish Church, represented by the Nuncius Ragonesi and the Society of Jesus, aimed at the grouping of the Spanish Youth into a National Confederation of Marian Congregations. These Congregations rapidly grew and evolved. From being a Christian young, devoted to personal and close circle sanctification, the Marian congregant was transformed into a Miles Christi marianus, a fighter, a catholic activist, obedient to the dictates of the Church, wholly identified with Pope’s postulates, and ready to shed his blood for his flag and for the building and defence of the Social Reign of Christ. Después de la Primera Guerra Mundial la Iglesia española, representada especialmente por el nuncio Ragonesi y la Compañía de Jesús, se esfuerza por organizar a la juventud dentro de una Confederación Nacional de las Congregaciones Marianas. Estas congregaciones asistieron a un crecimiento y evolución rápida. De ser un joven cristiano centrado en su propia santificación y en la de sus próximos, el congregante mariano se transformará en un Miles Christi marianus, un combatiente, un activista católico obediente a los mandatos de la Iglesia, identificado con el Papa, y dispuesto a derramar su sangre por su bandera y sobre todo por construir y mantener el reinado social de Cristo. |
