Description
Summary:I am bishop of a diocese. Over twenty years ago a community of sisters was erected as a Public Association of the Faithful. They are stable and their membership has increased. They have excellent financial resources. Their apostolate is meeting the needs of the people. They would like to be established as a religious institute of diocesan right. I am in agreement with them. Over the years I have had conversations with officials from several dicasteries in Rome. They have been very supportive. Is this enough to satisfy the need to consult with Rome before I go forward with the decree of erection?
