Ciò determina uno sfaldamento del linguaggio liturgico e una preoccupante ambiguità che tende a sfociare nell'allegoresi. Today, the term "symbol" covers an ample semantic spectrum. In the liturgical sphere, this term finds one of its correlations in the biblical category of “memorial”. The difficulty, in the contemporary world, of understanding the symbolic language of the liturgy determines a curious cohabitation between the original symbols (misunderstood in their ontological dimension) and weak symbols which only have an evocative value. This creates a collapse of liturgical language and a worrisome ambiguity which tends to suffocate our allegorizing. | ||
