Résumé: | Fear and anxiety can affect surgery outcomes. Spirituality is one of the basic aspects of human beings. This study determined the effect of spiritual care on the fear and anxiety of orthopaedic surgery candidates. A spiritual care programme was implemented for the experimental group. The results showed the spiritual care could reduce the anxiety and fear of orthopaedic surgery candidates. Therefore, nurses should pay more attention to spiritual care and receive the necessary training. |
