Recognizing the risk of investing in narratives deemed no longer relevant, Klutz justifies his relatively narrow study on the grounds that exorcism enjoys a level of prominence in Luke–Acts somewhere between the background and the frontground of Luke's narrative, as shown by, for example, its prominent position in the chiastic structure of Luke 9:1–50. | ||
