Description
Summary:The paper aims at a post-metaphysical approach to theodicy and, therefore, interprets a number of central narrations of the bible. It is indicated that the biblical God does not stand for the assurance of the human desire of dominating the Other but can rather be seen as a metaphor for the openness and transcendence of being. Furthermore, the paper illustrates how the conception of God discloses a perception on of the value of the vulnerability and the fragility of the living.
