Summary:Basing on a dedicatory to several goddesses (Victoria Augusta, Isis, Ceres and Iuno) by a priestess of imperial cult from the Roman colony of Italica (Seville, Spain), this paper analyses the place of Isis and the gens isiaca in privileged urban spaces: Isis was one of the pillars of imperial ideology and took part therefore in the civic circuits of cult in Italica.
