Description
Summary:A close look at Dt 16,18-20 allows us to understand one of the main causes for the carelessness with human life and the disregard for the common good, evils that are happening in several countries. In place of divine sovereignty and revealed truth, the human being, the faith emptiness and without thinking about the consequences, it has been put as a criterion of supreme justice and absolute truth. From this attitude, various forms of injustices, associated with the constant practices of corruption, are rising in societies. This article, after the introduction, centered on the historical-literary environment, offers a segmented translation of the text in focus, a proposal of organization, a brief comment and concluded with some final considerations.
