| Zusammenfassung: | Il prossimo 31 maggio 2020 ricorrerà il 50° di promulgazione del nuovo rito della "Consacrazione delle Vergini". In questo modo, sulla scia del Concilio Vaticano II, Papa Paolo VI ha voluto ripristinare l'antico Ordo virginum. La recente Istruzione Ecclesiae sponsae imago, pubblicata dalla Congregazione per gli Istituti di vita consacrata e le società die vita apostolica (2018), mette in luce la misteriosa fecondità apostolica del servizio principale svolto dalla vergini consacrate nella Chiesa: il loro essere mistiche "spose di Christo". Le potenzialità di questa Istruzione non sono poche, soprattutto in ordine al "Discernimento vocazionale" e alla formazione umana di donne e uomini impegnati nella vita pastorale e missionaria della Chiesa oggi. Ancora una volta la base solida di tutto è il Codice di Diritto canonico promulgato nel 1983 da Papa Giovanni Paolo II, che al can. 573 §1 definisce così lo scopo ultimo di ogni forma di vita consacrata: il conseguimento della "perfezione della carità nel servizio el regno di Dio". The next 31 May 2020 will be the 50th anniversary of the new rite of the "Consecration of Vergins". In this way, in the wake of the Second Vatican Council, Pope Paul VI wanted to restore the ancient Ordo virginum. The recent Instruction Ecclesiae sponsae imago, published by the Congregation for Institutes of Conbsecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (2018), highlights the mysterious spiritual fertility of the principal and primary service performed by consecrated virgins in the Church: the they are mystical "brides of Christ". The potential of this education is not few, above all with regard to "vocational discernment" and the human formation of women and men engaged in the pastoral and missionary life of the Church today. Once again, the solid foundation of everything is the Code of Canon Law promulgated in 1983 by Pope John Paul II, which can. 573 §1 thus defines the ultimate goal of every form of consecrated life: the achievement of the "perfection of charity in the service of God's Kingdom". |
