Expone aspectos de temperamento y carácter como sus dotes naturales, agudeza de ingenio, carácter resoluto, emprendedor y detallista, inclinado a la práctica más que a la teorización, tenaz y constante, humano y con discreto sentido del humor. Quedan también de manifiesto aspectos de inflexibilidad, resistencia a las críticas, corrector de conductas abusivas, inclinación a direccionismos que rayan hasta detalles nimios, coherente sin embargo con sus opciones centrales de sacerdote, educador y religioso poniendo siempre el ejemplo por delante. El artículo, finalmente, pretende acercar la fi gura de Calasanz, una talla de gigante, a todo humano que ve en él una guía o maestro de vida. The article presents the human profile of San Jose de Calasanz in narrative form based on texts of the Calasancio Epistolary. This exposes aspects of temperament and character as his natural gifts, sharpness of wit, determined character, entrepreneurial and detail, inclined to practice rather than to theorizing, tenacious and constant, human and with a discreet sense of humor. There are also aspects of inflexibility, resistance to criticism, corrector of abusive behaviors, inclination to directionalisms that border to minor details, coherent however with its central choices of priest, educator and religious always putting the example ahead. The article, finally, aims to bring the fi gure of Calasanz, a size of giant, to every human who sees in him a guide or teacher of life. |
