Summary: | The 'kairos' we are experiencing in the Church as a result of the Synod on Amazonia is pushing us to travel on new paths in the whole of the Universal Church, inspired by the Spirit that breathed on the synodal process related to a territory like Amazonia and the peoples that live in it. The reality of the Amazon region invites the whole Church to listen carefully to the cries of the territory and its inhabitants and, in turn, stimulates us to a comprehensive conversion in pastoral, ecological, cultural and synodal ways. This challenge is to consolidate a Church that is outward-facing and a Church of presence. |
