There are those who follow Christ more closely in his Church (c. 573.1), under their unique standart and the supreme law of the Gospel (c.662), professing the same state of penitence, "prayers of cries" (c.663, §1), celebrate the liturgy of praise (c. 607, §1), take refuge from Our lady, the Virgin Mary (c.663, §5), and extend His Kingdom (c. 673), all according to the identity of each institute (cc. 578, 587). It deals with "centuries of legalism". There is no shortage of legalistic authorities, which turned bitter the sweetness of the law and used ist strength to serve their own desires.
