| Summary: | The Satir Transformational Systemic model of therapy has contributed greatly to the field of family and individual therapy. Nevertheless, the powerful integration of spirituality throughout various components of its therapeutic concepts and interventions remains often overlooked. This article emphasizes the pioneering quality to Satir's work of spiritual integration by looking specifically at the model's conceptualization of people, the iceberg metaphor, the concept of congruence, and the use of self of therapist. The paper ends with a discussion of the model's limitations and strengths. Le modèle de thérapie systémique et transformationnel de Satir a grandement contribué au domaine de la thérapie familiale et individuelle. Parmi ses contributions importantes, sa puissante incorporation de la spiritualité dans ses abstractions et ses interventions thérapeutiques reste souvent négligée. Cet article souligne la qualité innovatrice de l'intégration spirituelle dans la thérapie Satir en examinant sa conception de l'individu, sa métaphore de l'iceberg, son concept de congruence, ainsi que son usage de l'auto-thérapie. L'article conclut avec une discussion des points forts et faibles du modèle. |
