Résumé: | This paper suggests that historically Baptists have given more attention to the doctrine of the Communion of Saints than is often realized. They used the phrase in its New Testament sense of Church Members. The paper urges a recovery of the doctrine, especially in the light of Baptist covenant theology. It stresses the one fellowship of all the saints in Christ and draws implications for our present denominational life. |
