Summary:This short notice presents the editio princeps (first edition) of ʿAntara’s Muʿallaqa, due to Vincent Elie Menil (1790-1825), a pupil of Joannes Willmet (1750-1835), and published in Leiden in 1816. It also presents the review written by Antoine-Isaac Silvestre de Sacy (1758-1838) in the Journal des savans in March 1817. As a matter of fact, the edition and the review are bound together in the copy owned by the author of this notice.
