| Summary: | The article addresses the role of women belonging to the minority community who emerged on the religious scene of Europe between the 12th and 13th centuries. They were the protagonists of a new theology known as "dal mysticism", initiated by Bernard of Clairvaux and William of Saint-Thierry; a different type of understanding of the divine mystery that allows space for femininity and the rebirth of the Word of the Father in the soul and human body. With these women, religious writing becomes the narrative and testimony of the small annunciations, as the Word became fl esh in their lives as well. The article pays special attention to three female figures: - Clare of Assisi (1191-1253) and her writings, particularly the Letters written to Agnes of Prague; - Margherita of Cortona (1247-1297), seen in the light of the Legend written by Friar Giunta Bevegnati; - Angela of Foligno (1248-1309) and the text of Memoriale, as a description of her spiritual journey. L'articolo aff ronta il ruolo delle donne appartenenti alla famiglia minoritica, che emersero sulla scena religiosa dell'Europa tra il Duecento e il Trecento. Esse furono le protagoniste di una nuova teologia, nota come "mistica nunziale", avviata da Bernardo di Chiaravalle e Guglielmo di Saint-Thierry; un diverso tipo di conoscenza del mistero divino, che concede spazio alla femminilità e al rinascere del Verbo del Padre nell'anima e nel corpo umano. Con queste donne, la scrittura religiosa diventa il racconto e la testimonianza delle piccole annunciazioni, poiché il Verbo si è fatto carne anche nella loro vita. L'articolo presta particolare attenzione a tre fi gure femminili: - Chiara d'Assisi (1191-1253) e i suoi scritti, particolarmente le Lettere scritte ad Agnese di Praga, - Margherita da Cortona (1247-1297) vista alla luce della Legenda scritta da fra Giunta Bevegnati, - Angela da Foligno (1248-1309) e il suo testo di Memoriale, come descrizione del suo cammino spirituale. |
