A partir de un análisis lexicológico, gramatical y retórico, y considerando los demás motivos soteriológicos de la Epístola, se aborda la cuestión de la relación entre el sacrificio expiatorio de Cristo, realizado una vez para siempre y plenamente eficaz, y su actual acción intercesora, a la cual el autor sagrado atribuye una relevancia innegable en orden a la salvación. 
520 |a This article aims to elucidate how Christ's intercession in the ongoing exercise of His saluific ministry, referred to in Heb. 7:25, is to be understood. Based on a lexicological, grammatical, and rhetorical analysis, and taking into consideration the other soteriological motifs of the Epistle, the link is investigated between Christ's atoning sacrifice, efficaciously accomplished once and for all, and His ongoing action as intercessor, which is attributed an undeniable relevance by the sacred writer in the order of salvation.
