Description
Summary:In the latter half of the decade of the 21st century, countries of the European Union are going through the largest migration crisis after World War II. It even became a test of its survival. It is important to know, for the solution of this crisis, the attitudes of all the Union states towards the phenomenon happening before our eyes. In order to meet this assumption, the article performs an overall characteristic of the situation of Poland as destination country of migrants, shows the opinion of Polish authorities of the problem and also examines the attitude of Polish society to the phenomenon of migration. This last requirement is so significant as it affects such an important issue as the impact of cultural differences on the readiness to accept migrants by local communities.
